Barbara Davis began her art career as a dancer, performing with Atlanta Dance Theatre and The Caribbean Dance Company in St Croix, USVI. She studied painting at Atlanta College of Art and with numerous private teachers. She graduated from Southeastern Center for the Arts with a focus in fine art, black and white photography. Her work ranges from portraiture to fine art landscape and still life. Images are black and white, sepia-toned, infrared or hand-painted. Most prints are available in 11 x 14 or limited edition Giclees. Barbara Davis' work is characterized by imagery of the tranquil and serene, distinctive mix of color palette and unusual perspective.
